"We have reached a positive point in discussions with the US Department of Defense. We know that it is supported by the White House. We expect Congress to make a decision with common sense," Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar said when commenting on the purchase of F-16s from the United States, AzVision.az reports citing the Turkish media.
"We want everyone to know that we are not desperate in this matter, that we have options," the minister added.
